Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun by ROBIKO

English: The Monster Next To Me, My Neighbor Monster-kun
Summary: Mizutani Shizuku is the type of person who only cares for her own grades. But when she accidentally delivers the lesson notes to Yoshida Haru, Haru becomes convinced they are friends. Haru turns out to have a very innocent personality, but who would've thought that Haru would actually confess to Shizuku?

Mizutani Shizuku, she's my favorite manga character until now (I don't know about her in the next chapter and so on, though). She's not the type of girl that usually in shoujo manga. She's cold, smart, quiet, but still nice. This manga is not mainstream, like how the male character is so "typical bishounen" smart, cool, girls adore him much, but no, he's a brutal one. And how there are so many cliché misunderstandings, and after that the girl cried, but they are so honest and that's cute. :3
I wish this manga, especially Shizuku will continue like this. Don't make this manga becomes mainstream and be different until the end of the story.

Cage of Eden by YAMADA Yoshinobu

Summary: Akira and his classmates are travelling on a plane when it crashes onto an island inhabited by species thought to have been extinct. The situation becomes increasingly desperate as some of Akira's classmates are eaten alive, while some kill others in desperation. Now Akira and a few other survivors are trying to survive what seems to be a horrible nightmare.

Ranked 4th on mangafox. Recommended manga if you love mystery and science-fiction manga. An unexpected adventure that they have been through. Also the characters who died and then there are new characters more. Though it's ecchi, but still, I can't stop reading this manga. Thanks to my friend, who recommended this manga to me. There is one manga that looked similar to this, but I don't really like it, I do like it, but it's too ecchi, and more sadist than this (I don't know how many mangas that similar to this, but I only one of them besides this). The story is more unexpected, but I recommend to read this first. Hope you like it.

Watashi Ni XX Shinasai! by TOOYAMA Ema

English: Do XX to me!
Summary: Himuro Yukina, known as the "Absolute Zero Snow-woman" is a cold and observant girl. In addition, she is actually a popular cell phone novelist who goes by the name of Yupina. Sadly, with no other human contact than her cousin, Yukina is unable to express more romance in her novels. Kitami Shigure, your so-called "typical bishounen", who is really a womanizer, has fallen into Yukina's trap when she blackmails him, and Shigure ends up doing Yukina's ''missions of love''. As this continue, will these ''missions'' be a opportunity for them to fall in love?

I kind of like this story. Especially the first character, Yukina. She's cold, intelligent, and calm. Especially, when she's being bullied by the other girls (a girl being bullied by other girls, too cliché). Sadly, as the chapter goes on, she's getting more and more boring. After she met Shigure and doing lots of love missions, she's became the typical girl in shoujo manga. You know I mean, right? Weak, fragile when it comes about love, whiny, and boring! But I still enjoyed the manga, LOL. This manga is a little bit ecchi, though. And I don't really know about her relationship with her cousin, Akira. Akira love Yukina, but not kind of family love, is it incest? If he is her distant relative, then that's fine. The manga is not completed yet. I'm still waiting for the next chapters!

Ao Haru Ride by SAKISAKA Io

English: Blue Spring Ride
Summary: Yoshioka Futaba has a few reasons why she wants to "reset" her image and life as a new high-school student. Because she's cute, she was ostracized by her female friends in junior high, and because of a misunderstanding, she couldn't get her feeling across to the one boy she has always liked, Tanaka-kun.
Now in high school, she is determined to be as unladylike as possible so that her friends won't be jealous of her. While living her life this way contentedly, she meets Tanaka-kun again, but he now goes under the name of Mabuchi Kou. He tells her that he felt the same way as she did when they were younger, but now things could never be the same again. Will Futaba be able to continue her love that hadn't even started from three years ago?

I like this couple! Well, they are not yet a couple, but I do like both of them. As far as I read, Futaba is not a crybaby (Damn, I'm annoyed with that type of girl). The author is the same as Strobe Edge, but I prefer this than Strobe Edge, though. I don't see the minus in this manga, yet. I can't wait for the next chapter, because there's only 18 chapters.

For One More Day by Mitch Albom

Summary: Charley “Chick” Benetto, a former baseball player who encounters a myriad of problems with his career, finances, family and alcohol abuse. This leads him to become suicidal. Charley goes on a drunken rampage and decides he is going to end his life in his old home town, but when he misses the exit, he turns around driving down the wrong side of the highway causing an accident, Charley flees to his old home – his suicide attempt an apparent failure – to see his mother, who had died eight years prior.

Benetto returns to his old family home, and spends one more day with his mother, wherein a number of previously unknown factors related to his difficult childhood and troubled relationship with his father are revealed to him. His mother assists him in resolving his issues and getting his life back on track. The day ends when Benetto regains consciousness at the scene of the accident in a police officer's arms.

One of the saddest novel that I ever read. More likely, it's about love of a mother and a son, and about baseball. Especially when Chick Benetto found out the truth about her parents marriage, why his father evicted by his mother when he was still a child. I cried when I read this book. For One More Day is really easy to read and short novel (about 200 pages). The minus is some said that the story is almost the same like his previous novel, The Five People You Meet in Heaven (Well, I haven't read that book, though).
If I have some time, I would read his another novel that called, Have a Little Faith, if you guys already read it, tell me, is it good or not? Because I already bought it last year and I still haven't read it.

p.s On Monday, I already have school activities, holidays are officially over *sigh*. Maybe I'm going to post something on my blog, but not as often as when it's holiday. Next year, I'm going to be in university! Wish me luck. :D

Fairy Tail by MASHIMA Hiro

Summary: Celestial wizard Lucy wants to join the Fairy Tail, a guild for the most powerful wizards. But instead, her ambitions land her in the clutches of a gang of unsavory pirates led by a devious magician. Her only hope is Natsu, a strange boy she happens to meet on her travels. Natsu's not your typical hero - but he just might be Lucy's best hope.

This my favorite manga all the time. It's shounen. When reading this manga, you will find more new characters. Different journey, different characters. There are some sad parts too, but not much. My favorite character is Gray, but I like Jellal and Gajeel too, haha. Well, I don't need to explain this manga, it's really recommended for you to read. I used to watch the anime, but not anymore, if I have the time, I'll watch it online. If you familiar with the artworks, the author is the same as Rave, and there's a one shot manga of Fairy Tail and Rave, LOL.

Shinshi Doumei Cross by TANEMURA Arina

English Name: The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross
Summary: In return for a business loan of 50 million yen, the prestigious Kamiya family gave their daughter Haine away to the Otomiya family. Haine, now an Otomiya, is appointed to the student council of the exclusive Imperial Academy, a private school for the aristocracy. Even though Haine is of proper lineage to be on the council, she finds herself struggling to find her place among the many secrets of its elite members, especially those of the president who holds her heart--Shizumasa Tōgū, aka "the Emperor."
Haine has been in love with Shizumasa Togu from the day she read the picture book he wrote as a child! She enrolls the Imperial Academy to be close to him and is accepted as a member of the student council! But with that dark secrets start to reveal them selves! Why does "The Emperor" act differently? Is Haine really in love with Shizumasa? Why did her father sell her and why doesn't her mother write to her anymore?

I have two sides when reading this manga, whether I like it or not. Some parts are hilarious and some parts are disappointing. At the end, I didn't like the main character, Haine. The most part that I was really annoyed was when Haine said "I have made up my mind. I will marry both of them." But in the end Tanemura Arina let Shizumasa go away. I mean which guy who would share her woman with another man? Worst, when the "another man" is your own brother. That's stupid. I enjoyed reading this manga, but there were some parts that made me want to stop reading. About Maora and Maguri? I know they are both men, somehow I think they are cute, so I'm fine with it. There are a lot of characters, and surprisingly, they are connected, it made this manga unique. Well, in the end, this manga is not bad after all. The pluses of this manga, I think you guys would likely to read it by yourself. About the artworks? They are fine and I like it.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontё

If you love classic novels, I suggest that you have to read this book. Wuthering Heights itself is the name of a big house in Yorkshire, England. First, don't expect such a lovey-dovey story in this book, you will find mostly about revenge, anger, and hatred. This gothic yet dark novel is really worth to read. Especially Heathcliff who seeks revenge to Earnshaw family. By marrying Isabella Linton, because he wants to inherit Thrushcross Grange (another house that is located not too far from Wuthering Heights), and he treats Isabella very cruelly.

"Is Mr. Heathcliff a man? If so, is he mad? And if not, is he a devil? I sha'n't tell my reasons for making this inquiry; but I beseech you to explain, if you can, what I have married."

Also, I have difficulties when I read this book. One of them is that I didn't understand any single word from Joseph. Well, I think it's because it's in Yorkshire dialect.
I read Wuthering Heights that published from Penguin Classics. But the cover from Penguin Classics Deluxe Edition is more artistic but it's not hardcover, I prefer hardcover, because it's more durable.

Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu by MAKI Youko

Summary: Hotate is a 10 year old girl who was living at her grandmother's house since her mother died. One day her grandmother tells Hotate that she can't care for her anymore because of her age and that she's going to have to live at her uncle's house. After moving to her uncle's house, she attends a new school, but things aren't easy because of her special ability to see the dead. Can she make friends with students in her new class? And what's the secret behind the bond between her and her uncle...?!

I like the story and you guys should read it, but the ending is really disappointing. What about Hayami and his mother? His mother killed him after all. And I want Hayami and Hotate to be together, I want their love story. The artworks are good (I like Hayami, LOL). There's a bit conflict, I saw people's comments about this manga, someone said that this manga is not completed yet, as far as I concern, on Mangafox and MangaHere said that the manga is already completed. Well, I wish that this manga is not finish, though. Maybe it ended like that, because it's up to people's imagination, IDK. I love the plot, I love the characters.

Orange by TAKANO Ichigo

Summary:  One day, Takamiya Naho receives a letter written to herself from ten years in the future. As Naho reads on, the letter recites the exact events of the day, including the transfer of a new student into her class named Naruse Kakeru. The Naho from ten years later repeatedly states that she has many regrets, and she wants to fix these by making sure the Naho from the past can make the right decisions—especially regarding Kakeru. What's more shocking is that she discovers that ten years later, Kakeru will no longer be with them. Future Naho asks her to watch over him closely.

I recommend you guys should read this manga. It's still had 4 chapters, though. But so far, the concept of the story is very good. From all the shoujo mangas that I read, this is the best so far, basically, I read shoujo manga based from the artist's artworks. And I'm not annoyed with the main character, other shoujo mangas, I always annoyed with the main character who always cries over smallest thing (Geez, fragile), but I don't feel annoyed with Takamiya Naho, even though she cries, she's trying her best to change the future, especially for her love, even she knows what will happen to Naruse Kakeru, she's tough and still try to change it. I hope this manga will have many viewers, best manga should have more viewers, read it guys! xD

Tacchi who?

First of all, call me Tacchi, because it's cuter than my real name, maybe.
The blog is called "Love Sonnets and Tragic Poems" it's because I wish I can write sonnets and poems in literature. For me, literature has its own art to express of a person's feelings, and in this modern days, people who can write in literature words, for me personally, are rare and unique.

The minuses are I'm slow at reading novels, I still prefer mangas. When I read Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontё, I finished the book for two months and more, but magically, I can read 31 mangas in only two days! and when I read novels, sometimes I'm still mumbling, different when I read mangas.

I like to review what I read, though. I'm in the middle of holidays and I've got nothing to do and been reading shoujo mangas quite often, I'm going to review some of them.

Hope you guys like it.
