List of Some of Shoujo Mangas That I read

Well, I kind of bored reviewing every shoujo mangas that I read, because I just realised that I'm using cliché words everytime I do the reviews. Anyways, I want to list all of the shoujo mangas that I read and still going on, and, of course, I like them!

1. Charming Junkie by FUKUYAMA Ryoko

2. Kamisama Hajimemashita by SUZUKI Julietta

3. Shitsuji-sama no Okiniiri by IZAWA Rei

4. Oresama Teacher by TSUBAKI Izumi

5. Pika Ichi by MAKI Youko

Actually, I read many, but it's just that I forgot some of the titles (sorry). Hope you reading all of them too!

Faster Than A Kiss by TANAKA Meca

Summary: After losing their parents, Fumino and her brother hop from one relative to another. Getting tired of constantly moving, she finally decides to quit school and work to support her brother on her own. As they sat on a park bench, her teacher appears in front of her and agrees to her demand of marrying and supporting both her and her brother!! Is he serious or just playing around...!?

Lovely! Cute! Loving it. I love how I waited for them to kiss, because you have to wait for so long for them to kiss, not like any other shoujo mangas for showing kiss scene easily. My favourite character is Teppei, Fumino's little brother. He's so cute and understanding. But I really, really want to see them have kids and Teppei grown up. The artwork is fine. The score is 8 out of 10 if you ask me. :P

Naruto by KISHIMOTO Masashi

Summary: Twelve years before the start of the series, a powerful creature known as the Nine-tailed Demon Fox attacked the ninja village Konohagakure, decimating many people. In response, the leader of Konohagakure's ninja military – the Fourth Hokage – sacrificed his life to seal the demon inside his newly born child Naruto Uzumaki. Konohagakure, however, regarded Naruto as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood.

My favorite manga of all time! I used to hate Naruto, though. But when I read volume 30, I kind of addicted and bought all of them two days in a row! (When Naruto still had 41 volumes). For me, the story is quite catchy. For people who already read it, do you think sharingan is a bit overrated? Like, there are so many abilities from those eyes and the power are all powerful. My favorite character is Gaara of the Desert. And I hope that Kishimoto make a good ending for Naruto. I enjoyed reading the manga or watch the anime, but the anime has many random shows which is sometimes good and sometimes not. I only watched the anime that has Gaara on it, LOL. The art is good too.

Kimi Ni Shika Kikoenai

Author: Otsuichi
Artist: Kiyohara Hiro
English: Nobody Can Hear Me But You
Summary: A timid schoolgirl who is isolated by everyone, doesn't own a cellphone because no one would call her anyway. So she imagines owning a cellphone in her head, but one day, there is a connection -- the phone rings, and someone is on the line!

Sad but such a refreshing story. It's really recommended if you want to read it. So heart-touching. I really love the plot. I'm not crying physically, but deep inside I cried. I wish it was a happy ending though. But if it is happy ending, it's not that breath-taking, right? LOL. One of the best manga that I've read.

Perfect Girl Evolution by HAYAKAWA Tomoko

Summary: After confessing to her first love, Sunako Nakahara is left broken-hearted and her confidence sinking after being called "ugly" by the boy she likes. Two years later, Sunako Nakahara, the agoraphobic, horror-movie-loving, pockmark-faced, frizzy-haired, fashion-illiterate recluse who tends to break into explosive nosebleeds whenever she sees anyone attractive, is sent to her aunt's mansion filled with gorgeous looking boys. The deal is, if the boys can turn Sunako into a perfect lady in three years, their rent to the mansion will be free. The problem is Sunako doesn't want to change... How will they be able to accomplish this deal now????

My most time favorite manga! A bit contain nude, but funny. I eager to see romance between Sunako and Kyouhei. I like they way they are though, but why they're still don't realized it. They already kissed, went on dates, and so on. I can not hate this manga.. The jokes are suitable for me, and the arts are good, I like all the characters. The manga is still on going, but when I saw on Wikipedia, it's written that they have 31 volumes. I don't want this manga to end that quickly! But I don't know why this manga called The Wallflower and I prefer the manga than the anime too (I haven't watch the anime, though). The chibi Sunako is cute, but I want to see her "normal" self more. :D

Mahou Sensei Negima! by AKAMATSU Ken

English: Magic Teacher Negima!
Summary: Ten-year-old prodigy Negi Springfield, has just graduated from magic academy, and in order to become a master mage he is sent to Japan to teach English at an all-girls middle school. But Negi has a bigger dream than just becoming a master mage. He wants to find his missing father, "The Thousand Master", the strongest mage that has ever lived. And he soon finds that searching for his father wont be as easy as he first hoped. In fact, it pushes him and his students into life-or-death battles that decides the fate of millions.

I don't how should I put this. I like the manga, but there are something that still missing. I'm curious who's Negi ended up with and about Negi's mother, Arika. I presume that his mother is already died a long time ago. I was sad when Asuna is already back because she slept for over a hundred years, if you read this, you know how I feel. But yeah, I'm still really, really curious about who's ended up with Negi... So many questions that left unanswered. The art is wonderful, I prefer read the manga than the anime. And I hate it because this manga is already over. I like to have a sequel, but that would be weird, I guess.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun by ROBIKO

English: The Monster Next To Me, My Neighbor Monster-kun
Summary: Mizutani Shizuku is the type of person who only cares for her own grades. But when she accidentally delivers the lesson notes to Yoshida Haru, Haru becomes convinced they are friends. Haru turns out to have a very innocent personality, but who would've thought that Haru would actually confess to Shizuku?

Mizutani Shizuku, she's my favorite manga character until now (I don't know about her in the next chapter and so on, though). She's not the type of girl that usually in shoujo manga. She's cold, smart, quiet, but still nice. This manga is not mainstream, like how the male character is so "typical bishounen" smart, cool, girls adore him much, but no, he's a brutal one. And how there are so many cliché misunderstandings, and after that the girl cried, but they are so honest and that's cute. :3
I wish this manga, especially Shizuku will continue like this. Don't make this manga becomes mainstream and be different until the end of the story.

Cage of Eden by YAMADA Yoshinobu

Summary: Akira and his classmates are travelling on a plane when it crashes onto an island inhabited by species thought to have been extinct. The situation becomes increasingly desperate as some of Akira's classmates are eaten alive, while some kill others in desperation. Now Akira and a few other survivors are trying to survive what seems to be a horrible nightmare.

Ranked 4th on mangafox. Recommended manga if you love mystery and science-fiction manga. An unexpected adventure that they have been through. Also the characters who died and then there are new characters more. Though it's ecchi, but still, I can't stop reading this manga. Thanks to my friend, who recommended this manga to me. There is one manga that looked similar to this, but I don't really like it, I do like it, but it's too ecchi, and more sadist than this (I don't know how many mangas that similar to this, but I only one of them besides this). The story is more unexpected, but I recommend to read this first. Hope you like it.

Watashi Ni XX Shinasai! by TOOYAMA Ema

English: Do XX to me!
Summary: Himuro Yukina, known as the "Absolute Zero Snow-woman" is a cold and observant girl. In addition, she is actually a popular cell phone novelist who goes by the name of Yupina. Sadly, with no other human contact than her cousin, Yukina is unable to express more romance in her novels. Kitami Shigure, your so-called "typical bishounen", who is really a womanizer, has fallen into Yukina's trap when she blackmails him, and Shigure ends up doing Yukina's ''missions of love''. As this continue, will these ''missions'' be a opportunity for them to fall in love?

I kind of like this story. Especially the first character, Yukina. She's cold, intelligent, and calm. Especially, when she's being bullied by the other girls (a girl being bullied by other girls, too cliché). Sadly, as the chapter goes on, she's getting more and more boring. After she met Shigure and doing lots of love missions, she's became the typical girl in shoujo manga. You know I mean, right? Weak, fragile when it comes about love, whiny, and boring! But I still enjoyed the manga, LOL. This manga is a little bit ecchi, though. And I don't really know about her relationship with her cousin, Akira. Akira love Yukina, but not kind of family love, is it incest? If he is her distant relative, then that's fine. The manga is not completed yet. I'm still waiting for the next chapters!

Ao Haru Ride by SAKISAKA Io

English: Blue Spring Ride
Summary: Yoshioka Futaba has a few reasons why she wants to "reset" her image and life as a new high-school student. Because she's cute, she was ostracized by her female friends in junior high, and because of a misunderstanding, she couldn't get her feeling across to the one boy she has always liked, Tanaka-kun.
Now in high school, she is determined to be as unladylike as possible so that her friends won't be jealous of her. While living her life this way contentedly, she meets Tanaka-kun again, but he now goes under the name of Mabuchi Kou. He tells her that he felt the same way as she did when they were younger, but now things could never be the same again. Will Futaba be able to continue her love that hadn't even started from three years ago?

I like this couple! Well, they are not yet a couple, but I do like both of them. As far as I read, Futaba is not a crybaby (Damn, I'm annoyed with that type of girl). The author is the same as Strobe Edge, but I prefer this than Strobe Edge, though. I don't see the minus in this manga, yet. I can't wait for the next chapter, because there's only 18 chapters.

Fairy Tail by MASHIMA Hiro

Summary: Celestial wizard Lucy wants to join the Fairy Tail, a guild for the most powerful wizards. But instead, her ambitions land her in the clutches of a gang of unsavory pirates led by a devious magician. Her only hope is Natsu, a strange boy she happens to meet on her travels. Natsu's not your typical hero - but he just might be Lucy's best hope.

This my favorite manga all the time. It's shounen. When reading this manga, you will find more new characters. Different journey, different characters. There are some sad parts too, but not much. My favorite character is Gray, but I like Jellal and Gajeel too, haha. Well, I don't need to explain this manga, it's really recommended for you to read. I used to watch the anime, but not anymore, if I have the time, I'll watch it online. If you familiar with the artworks, the author is the same as Rave, and there's a one shot manga of Fairy Tail and Rave, LOL.

Shinshi Doumei Cross by TANEMURA Arina

English Name: The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross
Summary: In return for a business loan of 50 million yen, the prestigious Kamiya family gave their daughter Haine away to the Otomiya family. Haine, now an Otomiya, is appointed to the student council of the exclusive Imperial Academy, a private school for the aristocracy. Even though Haine is of proper lineage to be on the council, she finds herself struggling to find her place among the many secrets of its elite members, especially those of the president who holds her heart--Shizumasa Tōgū, aka "the Emperor."
Haine has been in love with Shizumasa Togu from the day she read the picture book he wrote as a child! She enrolls the Imperial Academy to be close to him and is accepted as a member of the student council! But with that dark secrets start to reveal them selves! Why does "The Emperor" act differently? Is Haine really in love with Shizumasa? Why did her father sell her and why doesn't her mother write to her anymore?

I have two sides when reading this manga, whether I like it or not. Some parts are hilarious and some parts are disappointing. At the end, I didn't like the main character, Haine. The most part that I was really annoyed was when Haine said "I have made up my mind. I will marry both of them." But in the end Tanemura Arina let Shizumasa go away. I mean which guy who would share her woman with another man? Worst, when the "another man" is your own brother. That's stupid. I enjoyed reading this manga, but there were some parts that made me want to stop reading. About Maora and Maguri? I know they are both men, somehow I think they are cute, so I'm fine with it. There are a lot of characters, and surprisingly, they are connected, it made this manga unique. Well, in the end, this manga is not bad after all. The pluses of this manga, I think you guys would likely to read it by yourself. About the artworks? They are fine and I like it.

Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu by MAKI Youko

Summary: Hotate is a 10 year old girl who was living at her grandmother's house since her mother died. One day her grandmother tells Hotate that she can't care for her anymore because of her age and that she's going to have to live at her uncle's house. After moving to her uncle's house, she attends a new school, but things aren't easy because of her special ability to see the dead. Can she make friends with students in her new class? And what's the secret behind the bond between her and her uncle...?!

I like the story and you guys should read it, but the ending is really disappointing. What about Hayami and his mother? His mother killed him after all. And I want Hayami and Hotate to be together, I want their love story. The artworks are good (I like Hayami, LOL). There's a bit conflict, I saw people's comments about this manga, someone said that this manga is not completed yet, as far as I concern, on Mangafox and MangaHere said that the manga is already completed. Well, I wish that this manga is not finish, though. Maybe it ended like that, because it's up to people's imagination, IDK. I love the plot, I love the characters.

Orange by TAKANO Ichigo

Summary:  One day, Takamiya Naho receives a letter written to herself from ten years in the future. As Naho reads on, the letter recites the exact events of the day, including the transfer of a new student into her class named Naruse Kakeru. The Naho from ten years later repeatedly states that she has many regrets, and she wants to fix these by making sure the Naho from the past can make the right decisions—especially regarding Kakeru. What's more shocking is that she discovers that ten years later, Kakeru will no longer be with them. Future Naho asks her to watch over him closely.

I recommend you guys should read this manga. It's still had 4 chapters, though. But so far, the concept of the story is very good. From all the shoujo mangas that I read, this is the best so far, basically, I read shoujo manga based from the artist's artworks. And I'm not annoyed with the main character, other shoujo mangas, I always annoyed with the main character who always cries over smallest thing (Geez, fragile), but I don't feel annoyed with Takamiya Naho, even though she cries, she's trying her best to change the future, especially for her love, even she knows what will happen to Naruse Kakeru, she's tough and still try to change it. I hope this manga will have many viewers, best manga should have more viewers, read it guys! xD
