A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Such a light classic reading. I think it's because, basically, it's for children. When I read this, I'm in love with Sara Crewe's character. She is such a darling little girl with behaviour. I don't have any criticism about this book, because I do like it but not that much. By the way, I read it in Puffin Classic version. But the cover, it was supposed to be Sara, when you flip the next page, oh God, the picture is not cute at all (the overall)... The book is cute, really.

Bags!

I'm not a bag-lover person, though. But there are some of bags that I like. This is more like my bag wishlist, because I could never buy these bags because I'm not working yet, hahaha. Here are the bags:

1. Chanel 2.55

These bags are really timeless and really, really classic. You can wear it casually or formally. I really like the black one, but the white and the pastel pink are cute too. Still, the black wins.

2. Lady Dior

The red one is my favorite. Enough said.

3. Céline boston bag

4. Hèrmes Birkin

Well, Birkin is too big and probably too old for me. But the orange one is super, and not tacky.

Naruto by KISHIMOTO Masashi

Summary: Twelve years before the start of the series, a powerful creature known as the Nine-tailed Demon Fox attacked the ninja village Konohagakure, decimating many people. In response, the leader of Konohagakure's ninja military – the Fourth Hokage – sacrificed his life to seal the demon inside his newly born child Naruto Uzumaki. Konohagakure, however, regarded Naruto as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood.

My favorite manga of all time! I used to hate Naruto, though. But when I read volume 30, I kind of addicted and bought all of them two days in a row! (When Naruto still had 41 volumes). For me, the story is quite catchy. For people who already read it, do you think sharingan is a bit overrated? Like, there are so many abilities from those eyes and the power are all powerful. My favorite character is Gaara of the Desert. And I hope that Kishimoto make a good ending for Naruto. I enjoyed reading the manga or watch the anime, but the anime has many random shows which is sometimes good and sometimes not. I only watched the anime that has Gaara on it, LOL. The art is good too.

My Favorite Composers (Part I)

This time is about my favorite composers from anime or video games. I like listening to theme songs. I recommend you guys to listen to their music too. Mostly, I listen to anime theme songs more than from video games.

1. Toshiro Masuda (Naruto)

2. Joe Hisaishi (My Neighbor Totoro)

3. Yuki Kajiura (Tsubasa Chronicle Reservoir)

4. Yasuharu Takanashi (Naruto Shippuden and Fairy Tail)

5. Shawn Lee (Bully)

That's all. Hope you guys like them too. If I have another favorite composer(s), I'll post it anyway.

Kimi Ni Shika Kikoenai

Author: Otsuichi
Artist: Kiyohara Hiro
English: Nobody Can Hear Me But You
Summary: A timid schoolgirl who is isolated by everyone, doesn't own a cellphone because no one would call her anyway. So she imagines owning a cellphone in her head, but one day, there is a connection -- the phone rings, and someone is on the line!

Sad but such a refreshing story. It's really recommended if you want to read it. So heart-touching. I really love the plot. I'm not crying physically, but deep inside I cried. I wish it was a happy ending though. But if it is happy ending, it's not that breath-taking, right? LOL. One of the best manga that I've read.

Ways to Live Forever by Sally Nicholls

Summary: Sam Oliver McQueen is an eleven-year-old child, terminally ill with leukaemia, who, during one of his special education sessions decides to write a book about his life. In the book he talks about his life while being ill, the things he'll remember when he dies and, in a section called "Things I want to do", Sam makes numerous lists of questions. With the help of his teacher and friend Felix Stranger (who is also ill with cancer), they conduct various experiments, Sam and Felix break world records (including the world's smallest night club).

I read this book when I was in 7th or 8th grade in junior high. I thought that this book was based on a true story because I remembered when I was going to buy this book, I heard some of people talked about it, but no, it was realistic fiction. Yes, it was sad. Especially the part when Felix died. Things just got miserable in the end. Oh yeah, I read this in Indonesian Language, because I can't find the English one. In Indonesian, the titled is Setelah Aku Pergi or in English: After I'm Gone. The cover was a bit more calmer than the English version, don't you think?
